Officer Suffers Sore Knee From Chase

(WEST BADEN) - Police are looking for two suspects in an incident that occurred at Fast Eddie’s Convenience store in West Baden.

Indiana State Police Detective Greg Ashby was at the store when an employee told him that two customers were attempting to cash a stolen check.

When he approached the two they immediately fled the store. Ashby chased them outside to their car. They hit Ashby on his right leg with their vehicle and sped away from the parking lot.

Police were able identify the suspects when they found the vehicle abandoned later in the evening. Police continue to search for the two.
