Myers' Family Testifies In Behrman Trial
(MARTINSVILLE) - Family members of the Ellettsville man accused of murdering Indiana University student Jill Behrman testified for the prosecution Saturday.
Thirty-one-year-old John Myers is standing trial for the murder of the 19-year-old student, who disappeared on May 31, 2000.
Myers' brother, Sam Myers of Cincinnati, told jurors he discovered his 12-gauge shotgun missing soon after Behrman's disappearance. John Myers' mother, aunt, and grandmother also offered damaging testimony.
Myers has pleaded not guilty in this case that is expected to take five weeks.
