Man Found Dead After Theft

(BLOOMINGTON) - Sheriff officials say a man apparently broke into a south Monroe County home, took several items, then died when he crashed a car stolen in the burglary into a cemetery fence.
Officers found a young man behind the wheel of a late-model convertible Ford Mustang. He was declared dead at the scene. The suspect has not been identified at this time.
They also found several guns and a lockbox. Police speculate the man was afraid police were pursuing him at the time of the crash.
