Car Victim Identified

(BLOOMINGTON) - Monroe County authorities have identified a man who endured a strange death Monday.

Coroner Dave Toumey says 27-year old David Feeney, of Muncie, stole a car and crashed it into a cemetery gate, killing himself.

Feeney faced auto theft charges in both Indiana and New Mexico at the time of his death.

Police say Feeney had broken into a home in the county before stealing the vehicle.
