Last updated on Tuesday, October 24, 2006
(BEDFORD) - Bedford Park Board Recreation Director Debbie Reuter says two tourneys were held to raise money for John Sorrells who has kidney failure.
$6,300.00 was raised in both the men's and coed's games held earlier in the month. A total of 20 teams helped raise the money.
In other business, Reuter says the second session of co-ed volleyball has started at the Limestone Girl's club. Cost is $75.00 for those interested in participating.
