Bedford Police Dept. Offers Gun Class

(BEDFORD) - Bedford Police Department Training Coordinator Dennis Parsley is looking for more interested individuals for a civilian firearms training program.
The classes will be held this Friday and Saturday, four hours on Friday, eight on Saturday, and teach students safety rules, basic function of handguns, laws, purchasing, and permits, the legal aspects of self-defense and Indiana's statute regarding use of deadly force.
Students will get a chance to be at the Bedford Police Department Firing Range firing their weapons. Cost is $50.00 and can be paid on Friday. For more information, call Dennis Parsley at 275-3311.
