(BEDFORD) - Lawrence County police were called to three different motorcycle accidents over the weekend.

The first was at the Fayetteville-Owensburg Road and Ratkovich Lane near Fayetteville. 23-year-old Michael McCormick, of Bedford, was thrown from his Yamaha Roadster Warrior when a dog ran out in front of him. He skidded for nearly 70 feet after hitting the dog. McCormick suffered a fractured knee.

At Rariden Hill and WPA Roads near Mitchell, 50-year-old Bradford Baldwin, driving a 2004 Honda Metropolitan, ran off the road and crashed. Police discovered he had a blood alcohol level of .30 over three times the legal limit in Indiana. Baldwin suffered stomach injures.

And 22-year-old Tyler Grimes of Indianapolis was thrown from his 2006 Kawasaki Ninja on State Road 58 East and Todd Lane near Bedford when he crested a hill and did not see the curve. He ran off the road and fractured his knee in the accident. He was taken by some friends to Bedford Regional Medical Center for treatment.
