Money Set Aside For Bridge Construction

(BEDFORD) - Lawrence County Highway Superintendent Bob Stowe was given permission to spend $98,000 to rebuild the Tunnelton-Denison Road Bridge, better known as the Firetruck Road Bridge.
Stowe said the money will be coming out of a budget of $780,000.
He added he will be contracting the work and several of the county workers will be helping with the construction and learning some new skills from the contractor.
