Mitchell Persimmon Festival For Wednesday
(MITCHELL) - Activities continue today at the Mitchell Persimmon Festival.
St. Mary's Catholic Church will serve Italian Lunches and Dinners at the Main Food Tent starting at 11:30 this morning. The Senior Citizen's Afternoon will be held at the Main Street Stage area at 12:00 noon sponsored by Hoosier Uplands/Area 15 on Aging. At 4:30PM the preliminary judging of the Persimmon Festival Queen Pageant will be held in the High School Auditorium. At 5:00PM the Carnival will begin on Main Street. From 6:30PM to 8:00PM those who believe they can sing will have their opportunity with Karaoke on the Main Street Stage. To finish out the day will be the Persimmon Festival Queen Pageant Finals on the Main Street Stage at 8:30PM.
The festival continues all week with the Persimmon Festival Grand Parade next Saturday at 2:00PM.
