Judge Rules In Knight Case
Last updated on Saturday, September 02, 2006
(BLOOMINGTON) - A Bloomington judge has ruled that attorneys to former Indiana University Coach Bob Knight do not have to reveal details to the firing of the famed basketball coach.
Special judge Jane Craney says the records are a "work product" and therefore exempt from Indiana's Access to Public Records Act.
Knight was fired in 2000 after a student called him by his last name. He now coaches at Texas Tech.
