(UNDATED) - The East Fork White River crested Wednesday at Seymour with the river level more than falling 3 feet Thursday.
The river will continue to fall slowly through the weekend with water levels returning to normal by Monday.
Closer to home, the highest river levels of the summer are possible along the Muscatatuck River in southern Jackson County. Some flooding may result. High water from Jackson County will cause the East Fork White River in Lawrence County to rise to near bankfull levels by Saturday.
Motorists should avoid flooding roads and take another route. Keep children away from flooded areas. Recreational and agricultural interests should be alert to changing river conditions through Monday.
