(FRENCH LICK) - Even before the doors open at the new French Lick Springs Casino, the gaming company is offering an opportunity to win $1-million.
Over 500 different prizes are being offering online, including the $1-million grand prize. Details of the contest are available at www.frenchlick.com.
Meanwhile, the French Lick Casino will have to pay a $10,000 fine for being a month late with its financing.
Executive Director Ernie Yelton says the fine is more significant than it may sound.
It's in the same range as other gaming commission fines, for violations from admitting people on the state's compulsive-gambler list, to not locking down the roulette wheel when it's not in use.
The French Lick Resort Casino is expected to open in less than two months.
