Events Today At The Mitchell Persimmon Festival

(MITCHELL) - The Hoosier Hills Chapter of the American Red Cross will be holding a blood drive this afternoon at the Mitchell Persimmon Festival today.
They will be at the Church of Christ on Main Street beginning at 1:00PM. The Basketball Booster Club will be serving ham, beans and cornbread starting at 4:30PM at the Main Food Tent. At 5:00PM the Carnival rides will start up. And at 7:00PM Local Gospel Music Night will be held at the Main Street Stage.
The Mitchell Persimmon Festival Grand Parade will be the highlight of the festival. It will be next Saturday at 2:00PM, barring any severe weather.
