Bedford Police Cruisers Sold

(BEDFORD) - Bids were opened at yesterday’s Bedford Board of Works and Safety meeting Monday to purchase several used Ford Crown Victoria police cars from the Bedford Police Department.
Bids were received from five dealerships from as far away as New York City, Chicago and Pennsylvania.
Three winning bids went to Lawrence County Auto Sales, one to Asia Motor in Chicago and one to Police Cars Unlimited in Brooklyn, New York.
The average bids were around $3,000.
