Bedford Passes New Salaries And Budget

(BEDFORD) - The Bedford City Council met Friday to pass several salary and budget ordinances for 2007.
Both the Council Member salaries and Elected Officials salaries were approved with a two-and-a-half percent raise for 2007.
The board discussed allocating $100,000 to help pay for a new $800,000, 100 foot ladder fire truck. The board learned the money could come from the Cumulative Capital Development fund which holds about $650,000.
The over $13-million dollar budget was passed after the third and final passage.
