Two Mitchell Families Lose Home

(MITCHELL) - Eleven Mitchell residents were forced out of their home following a house fire last night.
Jimmy and Amy Arthur's daughter spotted smoke coming from one of the bedrooms in the home around 7:00PM.
The Mitchell Volunteer Fire Department was called to fight the fire. They battled the blaze that was contained to the upstairs. They discovered the source of the smoke coming from inside the wall of the child's bedroom.
Another family was living at the residence at the time. All of their clothing was destroyed and the Arthurs are looking for replacements. If you would like to help out with clothing, please call Jimmy Arthur's mother Sheila in Williams at 388-5657.
