MCSC Board To Wait For Ticket Increases
(MITCHELL) - The Mitchell Schools Board met during their regular session last night.
A lot of items were decided on in a short period of time. Some of the highlights included raising the cost of Junior High athletic ticket prices. The board wanted more information such as how many tickets were sold during last season's games and how soon uniforms were going to be replaced. The vote was tabled until the next board meeting in September.
The bus contract was approved allowing all bus drivers the same contract the high school drivers originally had including a gas allowance raise to $3.75.
Mitchell High School Superintendent John Lantis says the first two days of school has gone relatively well. He says construction on the schools is ahead of schedule. An open house is being considered for the public in the near future.
