(INDIANAPOLIS) - Lt. Gov. Becky Skillman has announced that the Indiana Department of Transportation has given notice to proceed with work on the Highway 37/145 project.

DLZ, Inc., will begin assessing the corridor from State Road 37 south of Mitchell to Paoli, State Road 150 from Paoli to Prospect and State Road 56 from Prospect to West Baden.

Once initial recommendations are received from DLZ, a public feedback meeting will be held in October.

The plan will be completed by November 8th just in time for the next quarterly meeting of the Highway 37/145 Association. INDOT Commissioner Tom Sharp and other INDOT officials are expected to attend.
