Criminal Confinement Charged on Loogootee Man

(LOOGOOTEE) - A Loogootee man is in the Martin County Jail following a report of criminal confinement.
Police received a call that 27-year-old Johnathan Dant had battered and choked a female acquaintance and refused to let her leave his residence.
Police went to the U.S. Hwy. 231 home and arrested Dant on criminal confinement, a class D felony, Battery, a class A misdemeanor and interfering with the reporting of a crime, a class A misdemeanor. The incident occurred early Wednesday morning.
