Bedford Man Collapes In Vehicle

(BEDFORD) - A Bedford man crashed his vehicle after he suffered a seizure.

The accident occurred on John Williams Boulevard in front of Williams Crossing Shopping Center.

According to the police report, 34-year-old Jerry Gibbons was approaching the stoplight when he collapsed and lost control of his Buick Regal.

A witness said Gibbons ran the red light and went into the westbound lanes of John Williams Boulevard.

Gibbon's vehicle hit the curb and traveled approximately 1,000 feet through an open field coming to rest near the wood line.

Gibbons was treated for body pain by Bedford Regional Medical Center EMS personnel at the scene.
