Accident Injures Two

(FRENCH LICK) - Two French Lick women were injured in an accident that occurred on State Road 56 near their hometown.
Police say 52-year-old Marian Nelson was driving on wet pavement when she lost control of her vehicle. The 4-door Mercury struck an earthen embankment before stopping.
Nelson suffered bruising to her head. Her passenger, 54-year-old Joyce Thomas, complained of pain. Both were taken to Bloomington Hospital of Orange County treated and released for their injuries.
Neither were wearing their seatbelts. Damage to the auto was estimated at around $1,000.
