Playground Total Increases Two-Thousand

(BEDFORD) - About $2,000 was raised at an auction held at the Englewood School on Washington Avenue in Bedford Friday night.
Bedford Urban Enterprise Association Project Coordinator Natasha Johns is raising money to build new playground equipment for the special education children.
Items in the auction varied from a replica of the Lawrence County Courthouse to a frog fountain.
About $42,000 has been raised; $62,000 is needed for the new playground equipment.
