New Recruits Officially Sworn In

(BEDFORD) - Bedford Mayor Joe Klumpp held a ceremony at City Hall yesterday for two new police officers and one new fireman. Family and friends saw officers Jeremy Crane and Justin Dodd and fireman Adam Flynn sworn in by the mayor. All replace outgoing officers.
Now that Adam Flynn has become a firefighter, several positions will change in the ranks of the force. Bedford Fire Department Chief Jack Stigall promoted Steve Haverly to Assistant Chief, Scott Gillespie to Captain and Brent Allen to Lieutenant. All have assumed their new duties.
