Last updated on Tuesday, July 18, 2006
(MITCHELL) - Mitchell Volunteer Fire Department fire fighters were called to put out a truck-trailer fire on Monday afternoon.
The refrigerator trailer was parked behind the Sprint station located on Highway 37 just north of the Marion Volunteer Fire Station.
According to police, the owner of the truck was trying to sell the vehicle. He had attempted to start the truck when the fire occurred. It was believed a motor in the trailer caused the blaze.
