Lawrence Co. 4-H Fair Queen To Be Crowned
(BEDFORD) - The 2006 Lawrence County 4-H Fair continues with more pre-fair activities beginning tonight.
The 4-H Fair Queen contest begins at 7:00PM in the Expo Hall at the Lawrence County 4-H Fairgrounds south of Bedford. The winner will oversee many of the events at the fair. She will be eligible to participate in the Indiana State Fair Queen Contest in Indianapolis.
Saturday will start with the Livestock Check-in at 5:00AM. The Pie Contest will be held Saturday with check-in starting at 9:00AM. Winners will be announced at 6:00PM with the auction of the pies to follow in the Show Arena. The 4-H Horse and Pony Gaming Classes will begin at 4:00PM. And at 7:00PM Satruday night, the bluegrass gospel group Sweet Grass will perform in the Show Arena at 7:00PM.
Sunday will have many activities as well with the Demo Derby at 6:00PM. Carnival rides will begin Sunday night running from 6:00PM to 11:00PM.
