Funeral Services Set For Norma Kenworthy

(BLOOMINGTON) - A former Bedford businesswoman has died.

92-year-old Norma Kenworthy had been living in Bloomington at the time of her death.

She had been active in many organizations as president of the Parkview PTA, president of Tri-Kappa serving on the state convention committee, United Way drive chairperson, North Lawrence Scholarship Foundation president, and president of Dunn Memorial Hospital Pink Ladies. Kenworthy served on the board of the Bedford College Center of Oakland City University and was a member of the welcome wagon. She received many service awards including the Bedford Area Chamber of Commerce Community Service award and Daughter's of Lawrence County Walk with Excellence award.

She leaves behind four sons, 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grand children. Funeral services for Norma Kenworthy will be held on Saturday at the First United Methodist Church in Bedford at 3:00PM. Friends may call from 3:00PM to 8:00PM Friday and 1:00PM until service time Saturday at Cresthaven Funeral Home in Bedford.
