Teen Flips Vehicle, Suffers An Arm Injury
(BEDFORD) - A Bedford teen is recovering from an arm injury following an accident on Sunday.
The accident occurred on Rariden Hill northwest of Mitchell when 16-year-old Emily Cessna was rounding a curve. She told police she came around the curve too fast and lost control of her vehicle. She didn't know what happened after that.
Police reconstructed the accident and found that Cessna apparently drove off the right side of the road, drove off the shoulder, overcorrected crossing over the left lane, traveling back across the road into an embankment. Her vehicle rolled over landing upright partially in the roadway. The auto suffered between $10,000 to $25,000 damage.
