(HARDINSBURG) - A Hardinsburg man is behind bars following a stabbing spree yesterday.

Indiana State Police were called in to investigate a 911 call of several people being stabbed in the rural Washington County town. Police found two people with stab wounds and a third victim dead.

Police went looking for 26-year-old Joseph Abell, of Hardinsburg, and found him walking on State Road 150 near the city. He was taken into custody and incarcerated in the Washington County Jail on one count of murder and two counts of attempted murder.
