Road Accident Kills Three Young Girls

(JASPER) - Three teenage girls were killed Monday afternoon and two teenage boys were injured in a crash that occurred in Dubois County.

According to police, the teens tried to pass a vehicle on the right side of the roadway and lost control of their Dodge pickup. Their vehicle then hit a tree located near the road.

The girls were pronounced dead at St. Joseph's Hospital. The boys were air-lifted to Evansville where they are being treated for their injures.
