Police Find Drugs After Auto Accident

(BEDFORD) - A Paoli woman was taken to the Lawrence County Security Center this morning on drug charges after she hit a vehicle on State Road and U.S. Highway 50.
38-year-old Cynthia L. Mayhew apparently hit a vehicle as she was approaching the intersection.
Police discovered she was in possession of marijuana under 30 grams, paraphernalia, and a schedule IV drug.
She was also charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated, false information and driving a vehicle with license suspended.
The other driver was not injured in the accident.
