Limestone Heritage Festival Activities For The Weekend
(BEDFORD) - As part of the Limestone Heritage Festival, activities begin Friday with the Strawberry Shortcake gathering at the Harp Commons gazebo on the Bedford square.
The collection of various types of shortcake recipes will be on display and ready to eat for those who are lovers of strawberries. It begins at 11:00AM and runs until about 4:00PM.
On Saturday, the Limestone Heritage Festival Bedford Federal Tennis Tournament will get underway at the BNL high school tennis courts. The event will continue on Sunday.
Capping the festival will be the parade on Tuesday, the 4th of July, in downtown Bedford, the Old-Fashioned Ice Cream Social featuring The Residue at the Thornton Park Pavilion at 1:30PM and the fireworks display at the Parkview Football Field at 10:15PM.
