(BLOOMINGTON) - An Indiana University MBA student has made an impressive showing in a national advertising competition.
Floyd Newsum entered the Cadillac National Case Competition as an independent, challenging multi-person teams from other universities.
Newsum's task was to create a marketing plan for a Cadillac product.
His plan, which earned second place nationally, strived to sell Cadillac Ecalade SUV's and other luxury vehicles to African Americans.
