(BLOOMINGTON) - Indiana University officials say they’ll tap other budgets to cover an expected $885,000 shortfall in scholarships.

The school is slated to have far less scholarship money than expected following a change in calculations by the Student Assistance Commission of Indiana.

IU will take money from maintenance budgets to help bridge the gap. Purdue will use reserve financial aid money to help its students. Ball State University has told students to apply for more loans.
