4th Of July Safety Tips
(UNDATED) - The Fourth of July is one week away and the Indiana State Department of Health is reminding Hoosiers to celebrate safely this Fourth of July.
Fireworks injuries are often severe, and can result in blindness, or loss of a finger or hand.
Don't allow young children to play with fireworks, and supervise older children who do.
Keep a bucket of water nearby for emergencies and dousing fireworks that don't ignite, and most of all, always wear eye protection when lighting or using any fireworks.
