TIF District Voted For Bedford

(BEDFORD) - The Bedford Redevelopment Commission held a public meeting Monday night for those concerned about the proposed Tax Increment Finance District, or the TIF district.
No one appeared before the board, so the confirmatory vote was made and passed unanimously.
Certified Public Accountant Jason G Semlar with H.J. Umbaugh and Associates from Indianapolis has been helping the board set up the TIF district.
The TIF District will be located from 16th Street north to just north of 5th Street, all of John Williams Boulevard, "X" Street down to Beech Street east of Walmart Plaza and a area just west of Highway 37.
A declaratory vote will be made to finalize the TIF District.
