Teen Arrested For Hitting Dad

(BLOOMINGTON) - A Bloomington teen previously reported to police as a runaway is in custody after allegedly hitting her father in the head with an aluminum baseball bat.
The man told authorities his daughter told him to close his eyes, saying she had a surprise for him. When he complied, he was struck with the bat.
The girl is being held at the Bartholomew County Detention Center.
