Pair Arrested For Fleeing Police

(OOLITIC) - Two men are behind bars following a police chase in Oolitic.
Lawrence County Police tried to stop Cory Stephen Brent, of Orleans, for a traffic violation, but Brent would not stop.
A chase began that ended in East Oolitic. A passenger in the car fled from the vehicle. Justin N. Bunch, of Bedford, was captured and arrested for resisting law enforcement by fleeing and found to have two outstanding warrants. Brent was charged with resisting law enforcement by fleeing, driving while license suspended, possession of marijuana over 30 grams, and reckless possession of paraphernalia.
Both were escorted to the Lawrence County Security Center.
