NLCS Board Recognizes Retirees

(BEDFORD) - The North Lawrence Community Schools board met Thursday evening.
A retiree recognition was held for 30 teachers and support staff. Each recipient received a plaque and gift of appreciation. It was noted that the combined amount of years for the 30 employees totaled 459 years.
Other highlights included the mention that bricks from the original smokestack of Bedford High School were still available. If anyone is interested, they are free and can be obtained by calling the maintenance office at the school.
