(BEDFORD) - A very productive meeting of the Lawrence County Local Emergency Planning Commission was held Tuesday afternoon.
The roster of names on the board was revised with BRMC EMC Director Bob Atkins becoming the new chairperson.
There was discussion on local emergency training, a state drill, NIMS and the local website. Those interested in finding out about the county group can log onto www.district8indiana.com
It was decided to hold the meeting on the third Tuesday of every month and to move the time to 3:00PM. The next meeting will be held on June 20th.
