Death In Burning House A Homicide

(BEDFORD) - Bedford police detectives continue to investigate a house fire that occurred on April 30th.
After fire fighters were able to quickly douse the blaze, 61-year-old Mary Jean Endris was found dead in the "G" Street residence.
The fire was started on a mattress in the bedroom of the home.
Further investigation found that Endris died as a result of homicide.
Police are asking anyone with information on the incident to contact the Bedford Police Department at (812) 275-3311.
Also, Bedford detectives are asking that anyone who had contact with Mary Jean Endris during the week prior to her death to contact the Bedford Police Department Detective Division.
