County Police Catch Drug Smugglers

(BLOOMINGTON) - Monroe County jail officials say they’ve put an end to a drug-smuggling scheme at the Bloomington jail facility.
43-year old John Roell and 29-year-old Scott Bewert are accused of conspiring with 44-year-old inmate Yvette Sheffer to bring prescription drugs into the jail.
Officials say Roell and Bewert gave the drugs to Sheffer while she was out of the jail for a doctor's appointment.
