Bedford Man Charged With Drug Dealing
(BEDFORD) - Bedford police arrested a Bedford man on drug charges after a routine traffic stop.
Police say 23-year-old Michael S. Dalton ran a stop sign at 17th and "G" Streets.
When police stopped him, they discovered he was in possession of over 30 grams of marijuana.
It was learned he had intentions to sell the illegal weed.
As police began to take Dalton to the Lawrence County Security Center on the two charges, he faked a stomach ache and tried to evade police.
He was quickly captured and additionally charged with escape.
