(INDIANAPOLIS) - The Better Business Bureau of Central Indiana is red-flagging a Bedford veterans group.

The BBB says Paralyzed Hoosier Veterans' claim to be the largest private donor to paralysis research at Purdue is untrue.

Purdue says it hasn't gotten any money from the group in eight years, and only $2,000 then.

PHV President Al Tolbert says telephone fundraisers sometimes get carried away, and are fired when they do.

He charges the BBB is waging "guerrilla warfare" against his group.
