Quarry Accident Leaves One Man Dead

(BLOOMINGTON) - An Owen County man was killed while working at the B.G. Hoadley quarry in Bloomington, IN.
Officials say 34-year old Benjamin Strunk of Spencer, IN died when a 36-hundred pound stone slab fell on him. Strunk was pronounced dead at the scene.
Another man was also struck by the slab. 29-year old Jon Day, of Williams, IN was taken to Bloomington Hospital in critical but stable condition.
