(GIBSON COUNTY) - Two men, including one from Washington, were arrested on drug charges after being stopped for speeding.
State police trooper Jason Allen stopped the Ford minivan, driven by 36-year-old Kelvin Pasley of Cold Water, Mississippi. 35-year-old Alan Marshall, of Washington, was in the passenger seat.
Trooper Allen searched the vehicle and found a plastic bag containing a half-pound of marijuana wrapped up in a pair of pants. Also found was a small bag with about 3 grams of cocaine. The small bag was thrown from the vehicle.
Pasley and Marshall were arrested for possession of marijuana over 30 grams and possession of cocaine over 3 grams. They were taken to the Gibson County jail without bond.
