(BEDFORD) - The city of Bedford continues to flush hydrants in town to clear the lines of dirt and grime.

Today workers will be flushing on 15th Street and "E" to 15th and "K", North to Breckenridge Road.

Officials say the flushings could cause the water to become muddy or rusty and can be harmful to laundry with staining. They say to simply let the water run until it becomes clear. The flushings will last until Sunday. If the weather turns bad the flushings will be canceled.

If you have any questions, contact the Bedford City Utilities by calling (812) 275-1626.
