A DNR official confirms that Andrea Jordan Evans, the 2-year old girl from Seymour, IN who was abducted by her father, has been found alive.

Andrea, who was reported missing in an Amber Alert issued this Wednesday morning, was found at the Rockford Place Restaurant on State Road 11 in Northern Jackson County.

Andrea is reported to be fine and in good spirits. During the search for Andrea, reports indicate that shots were fired after her father, Thomas J. Evans, crashed into a state police car. Evans was shot and killed as police indicate that Evans revealed a gun to police as he attempted to flee the area.

Andrea's abduction was reported by her mother, Brenda Evans, who said her husband tied her up inside their home in Seymour on Wednesday.

Stay tuned as more details become known.
