(BEDFORD) - The Lawrence County History Festival will last two days and is free to the public.
The Lawrence County History Festival will be held this Saturday and Sunday in Murray Park on 5th Street in Bedford.
Some of the activities for this year's event include a never before seen "Gunfight At the O.K. Corral," an 1860's Vintage Baseball Game, an Education Tent and a "Thru The Ages" Fashion Show.
Back by popular demand will be the Lawrence County Victorian Dancers, battle re-enactments and military encampments, McKnight's Rangers Wild West Hold Up, music and children's choir and children's games and historical craft demonstrations.
Home-cooked favorites like pulled pork BBQ, homemade desserts and all you can eat ham and beans, and cornbread will be served. The two day event is being sponsored by the Lawrence County History Museum and the Lawrence County Victorian Dancers.
