(BEDFORD) - The city of Bedford continues to flush hydrants in town to clear the lines of dirt and grime.

Officials say the flushings could cause the water to become muddy or rusty and can be harmful to laundry with staining. They say to simply let the water run until it becomes clear. The flushings will last until Sunday.

Today crews will be at Lincoln Avenue north of 15th street, 15th street west of 'L' street, north to 10th street, and John Williams Boulevard. If the weather turns bad the flushings will be canceled. If you have any questions, contact the Bedford City Utilities.
