Last updated on Tuesday, April 25, 2006
(JASPER) - A Dubois county Marine has died in Iraq from a roadside bomb.
The parents of 23-year old Eric Lueken were notified over the weekend that their son was among the victims of the explosion.
Lueken is not the first Dubois county casualty, but he is the first local Marine to be listed among the more than two thousand U.S. casualties. Lueken was assigned to the 3rd Marine Expeditionary Force, based in Hawaii.
